I was reading Herodotus as wel...This made me laugh. I was reading Herodotus as well and came across this story. I really liked the description of the camel tactic. I am guessing that they were pulling his leg like many folks that entertain foreigners do. I have not heard anything about Onescrites. I guess I will have to look him up.
